great show!

E and I went to the House of Blues last night to see Dashboard Confessional.  I knew nothing of the group and I don't believe that I had heard any of their songs prior to the show.  That being said, I really enjoyed the show (forgot the camera - boo!), especially the more up beat songs.  The slow ones, honestly, made me yawn a bit.  I was also surprised that the drummer was also a back up singer.  Is that common?

We sat in the upper level and, during the opening acts, the band was right next to us.  It was funny watching the 'groupies' go up and introduce themselves and the band shrug them off.

Definitely on the list to return to HOB and see another concert.
