wake up call for 5.30a

5:30 AM


All last week, all this week (I hope) and for the weeks to come, I rolled out of bed at 5.30a (ok, closer to 5.45a) and exercise for 45 minutes.

This is a huge accomplishment for me, since I use to be that person hitting the alarm not once, not twice, but as many as four or five times in the morning.  E is definitely thankful that he no longer has to hear the alarm going off every seven minutes in the morning.  I am thankful for getting my walking / running done in the mornings and some time after work to read, pay bills, straighten the house, etc, or, one of my favorites, go out to dinner or grab drinks after work.  No more guilty feelings about not making time to exercise.  Now, if only, I can take the time to go to a yoga class once a week after work.
