According to A. A. Milne (Winne the Pooh author):
Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up.
To set the scene, it's 10p on Wednesday.  I'm bed, having just finished reading, the lights are out, and I am trying to quiet my mind to go to sleep, but I can't.  I am preoccupied with my medicine cabinet.  I am trying to figure out a quick fix to make a chaotic mess disappear.  It has been unorganized for months now and tonight I can't fall asleep.  I am tossing and turning over the lack of organization in my medicine cabinet.  This seems...silly.

I get out of bed, grab three tea Asian motif tea cups, a leaf shaped dish, and 15 minutes later, volia!

Trust me, when I say before, it was a chaotic mess.  It's better, not perfect.  Most importantly, I am able to fall asleep.  The following morning begin my search for idea on how to make it better.  I stumble on the following image from the Apartment Therapy website:

I like it, simple, not cluttered, organized and seamless.  I wouldn't mind having a little color, and I want to spend as little money as possible.  I already grabbed the tea cups and leaf shaped dish, but decided that I want a little color.  Something to hide the boring white that is extremely common in rental places.  Fabric, maybe that will add color without having to paint, and have some yellow fabric that might easily match the other colors in the bathroom.  I'll be on the look out for hooks to add to the inside of the cabinet, but otherwise, I think it will work for now...
