Book: Mr & Mrs Fitzwilliam Darcy
Author: Sharon Lathan
Plot Summary: This book continues the story of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. The wedding is over and so begins the honeymoon for Mr & Mrs Fitzwilliam Darcy at Pemberley. The lovers, who had much to overcome in Jane Austen's story, are able to embrace their marriage with romance and passion.
Overview: Jane Austen would not approve, and I felt as though I betrayed her beautiful, romantic story by reading this book. There is no plot, and, the majority of the time, I felt as though I was reading a Danielle Steel or Nora Roberts book. Within the first 50 pages, I almost stopped reading numerous times. Yet, I continued reading and was surprised. At time, the author surprised me with an interesting passage and decent writing. My opinion, skip this book and enjoy the original, G-rated book. It ends where Jane Austen ends the story.
