Book: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Plot Summary: A murder mystery haunts the past of a wealthy Swedish industrial patriarch and family. A libel case was brought against, Mikael Blomkist, a middle aged journalist, by a Swedish industrialist and results in serious repercussions for his life, including the magazine that he publishes. His sentence includes a short prison stay. Mikael relinquishes is responsibilities at the magazine. Hesitantly, he agrees to work for Henrik Vanger, former CEO of the Vanger companies and a man that is haunted by the disappearance of his niece 40 years ago. Thus, begins the story of Mikael as he attempts to solve a cold case.
Overview: This is an amazing, well written book, the first of three in the story. I would highly recommend this book.
